Terms of service
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy from the Sear's Pizza online shop. Please read them before you order, and save or print a copy for your records.
1. Who we are
The Sear's Pizza online shop is run by Lucky Seven Central Ltd, a private limited company registered in Scotland, company number SC865818. Our registered office is 21 Queen Street, Renfrew, PA4 8TR. Our trading address is 4 John Street, Glasgow G1 1JQ, and returns are sent there by post. We post orders from Edinburgh. Our VAT number is GB519812673.
Lucky Seven Central Ltd also runs the Sear's Pizza shop on John Street. The West End, South Side and Marchmont shops are run by other companies, not by us.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Lucky Seven Central Ltd. "You" means the person buying from us.
To contact us, email whatsgood@searspizza.com or phone 0141 467 1472 (our John Street shop).
2. What these terms cover
- These terms cover Sear's Pizza merch and gift cards that you buy through our website and pay for at our checkout, which is run by Shopify.
- Our Shipping policy and Refund policy are part of these terms. Sections 6, 7 and 8 repeat their wording.
- These terms don't cover food. Online pre-orders and catering orders through storekit are covered by the Terms and Conditions page on our website. Orders on Uber Eats or Deliveroo follow their own terms.
3. Ordering
- Choose your items on our website and go to checkout. Before you pay, you can check your order and delivery address and go back to correct any mistakes.
- When you pay, we'll email you an order confirmation with your order number. The contract between us starts when we send that email.
- If we find we can't supply something you've ordered, for example because it has sold out, we'll tell you and refund you in full for it.
- We keep a copy of your order and of these terms. Your order confirmation email sets out your cancellation rights and includes a cancellation form. Ask us and we'll send you the terms that applied to your order.
- Our contract with you is in English.
4. Prices and VAT
- Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies.
- Delivery is extra unless your order qualifies for free delivery (see section 6). You'll see the full price, including delivery, before you pay.
- We may change our prices, but a change won't affect an order we've already confirmed.
- If we've made an obvious mistake with a price, we'll contact you before we send your order. You can then go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Payment
- You can pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay or Klarna. You can also pay for merch with a Sear's Pizza gift card (see section 8). Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, and we don't see your full card details.
- We take payment when you place your order.
- If you choose Klarna, Klarna decides whether to offer it to you. Your agreement with Klarna is separate from your contract with us, and Klarna's own terms apply.
- If you use Shop Pay, Shopify's Shop Pay terms also apply.
6. Delivery
We post to England, Scotland and Wales with Royal Mail Tracked 48. Delivery costs £3.95, or nothing on orders of £45 or more. We post orders from Edinburgh within 5 working days, and they usually arrive 2 to 3 working days after that. You'll get a tracking link by email when your order is on its way.
We can't post to Northern Ireland or outside the UK yet.
- We don't offer collection from the Sear's Pizza shops. Merch orders are posted only.
- Your order is our responsibility until it's in your hands, or with someone you've asked us to deliver it to, such as a neighbour you've named.
- Please check your delivery address before you pay. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, we'll get in touch to sort it out.
- Gift cards are sent by email, not by post (see section 8).
Questions about an order? Email us at whatsgood@searspizza.com with your order number.
7. Cancelling and returning merch
If you change your mind
You can cancel your order at any time from placing it until 14 days after the day you, or someone you've named (not the courier), receive it. Tell us by email at whatsgood@searspizza.com with your order number. If you cancel before we post your order, we'll refund you within 14 days of you telling us. Otherwise, send the items back within 14 days of telling us. Please return them as you got them, with the tags on if you can. If they've been handled more than you would in a shop (for example worn, washed or damaged), we may take the loss in value off your refund. We'll refund the price and the original delivery charge within 14 days of the day we get them back or the day you show us proof of posting, whichever is sooner. Return postage is yours to pay.
- This is your legal right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You don't need to give a reason.
- If your order arrives in more than one parcel, you have until 14 days after the day you receive the last one.
- You can tell us by email, or use the cancellation form at the end of this section. You don't have to use the form.
- Send items back to Lucky Seven Central Ltd, 4 John Street, Glasgow G1 1JQ. Keep your proof of posting.
- You can try items on, as you would in a shop.
- We'll refund you to the payment method you used.
If an item is faulty or wrong
Tell us within 30 days of receiving it and we'll give you a full refund, including the return postage. We'll refund you within 14 days of agreeing you're entitled to a refund. After 30 days, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply.
- The law says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.
- After 30 days, you can ask us to repair or replace a faulty item. If that isn't possible, or doesn't fix the problem, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund.
- If a fault shows up within 6 months of delivery, we'll treat it as having been there when you received the item, unless we can show it wasn't.
- Wear and tear, and damage from accidents or misuse, aren't faults.
- To report a problem, email us with your order number and, if you can, a photo. We'll tell you how to send the item back.
Cancellation form
If you'd like to use it, copy this into an email or letter and fill it in.

8. Gift cards
Buying a gift card
- Gift cards come in £10, £20, £30, £50 and £100.
- We email the card to you, or straight to the person you're giving it to, with your message. If you send it to someone else, you can choose a day up to 90 days ahead.
- Please check the recipient's email address before you pay. If you spot a mistake, email us straight away.
- You can't use a gift card to buy another gift card.
Using a gift card
- Spend it at the counter in any of the four Sear's Pizza shops: West End, South Side and John Street in Glasgow, and Marchmont in Edinburgh. Show your gift card code, and staff will take the amount off the card.
- You can also spend it on merch in our online shop, by entering the code at checkout.
- Spend it over as many visits as you like until it runs out. If your bill is more than the balance, pay the rest another way.
- It can't be used for online pre-orders or catering orders through storekit, or on Uber Eats or Deliveroo.
- No cash alternative and no change given.
- To check your balance, ask at the counter in any of the four Sear's Pizza shops, or email us.
Expiry, loss and misuse
- A gift card is valid for 12 months from the day you buy it, even if you choose a later send date, so a scheduled card gives the recipient less time. The expiry date is shown in the gift card email. Any balance left after that date can't be used.
- Keep your code safe: anyone with it can spend it. If the email is lost, tell us the order number and we'll re-send the card to the email address it went to. We can't replace a balance someone else has already spent.
- You can give a gift card to someone else.
- We may cancel a gift card if we reasonably believe it was bought or obtained by fraud. If we cancel a card, we'll tell the holder why.
Refunds
You can cancel a gift card within 14 days of buying it, as long as none of it has been spent. Email us with your order number and we'll refund you in full. Otherwise, gift cards can't be refunded or exchanged for cash once bought, except where the law gives you that right.
Who is responsible for your gift card
Lucky Seven Central Ltd issues the gift cards sold in this online shop and is responsible to you for them, whichever Sear's Pizza shop you spend them in. The West End, South Side and Marchmont shops are run by other companies, which accept our gift cards.
Gift Up gift cards
Sear's Pizza gift cards used to be sold through Gift Up. If you hold one, it keeps the terms it was sold under, and we'll move it to our new gift cards:
- We'll email you a new code for the full remaining balance.
- The new card will be valid for at least 12 months from the day we move it, and never for less time than your old card had left.
- Your old code will keep working at the counter for at least 3 months after the move.
- If you don't get our email, or your old code has stopped working, show us or email us your old code and we'll swap it for a new one with the same balance.
Apart from its expiry date, the new card works like any other gift card in this section.
9. Product descriptions and photos
- We describe and photograph our merch as accurately as we can, but colours can look different on different screens.
- Each product page says what the item is made of.
- Some product photos and videos are digitally edited, or made from photos of the real item. We check them against the real thing.
- Our T-shirts are printed locally in Glasgow.
- If something you receive doesn't match its description, tell us and you can return it as a wrong item (see section 7).
10. Our responsibility to you
- If we break these terms or are negligent, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it's obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you placed your order.
- We aren't responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.
- We sell our products for private use. If you use them for a business, we aren't responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility where the law says we can't. That includes responsibility for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or that of our staff, agents or subcontractors;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- your legal rights in relation to the products, including the right to goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality;
- defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
11. Events outside our control
We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal strikes, severe weather or problems with Royal Mail's network. If that happens, we'll tell you as soon as we can and do what we can to keep the delay short. If there's a risk of a long delay, you can cancel your order and we'll refund you for anything you've paid for but not received.
12. Your personal details
How we use your personal details when you buy from this shop is explained in our Privacy policy. Our checkout is run by Shopify, which handles your details to take payment and process your order. Shopify's own privacy policy is at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law or our shop changes. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown here when you placed it, and we keep a copy of every version. A change won't reduce the balance or shorten the validity of a gift card you already have.
14. Complaints and contact
If something's gone wrong, email us at whatsgood@searspizza.com with your order number, or phone 0141 467 1472. You can also write to us at Lucky Seven Central Ltd, 4 John Street, Glasgow G1 1JQ.
We'll reply within 3 working days and aim to sort things out within 14 days. If we can't agree, we'll tell you in writing about an independent dispute resolution service and whether we'll use it.
For free, independent advice about your rights, contact Advice Direct Scotland if you live in Scotland, Citizens Advice in England and Wales, or Consumerline in Northern Ireland.
15. Law and courts
These terms are governed by Scots law. If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you still have the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live. You can bring a claim in the Scottish courts. If you live in England or Wales, you can bring it in the courts of England and Wales instead, and if you live in Northern Ireland, in the courts of Northern Ireland.
If a court decides that part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
16. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
